Musica di Gurbāṇī: Reviving the oldest living music tradition of South Asia
Bhai Baldeep Singh will cover ancient rāga-less and rāga-based Chantt recitations, Dhrupad and Tuḳē singing, share from his ongoing research work and findings about the musical modes and improvisation methods. He will also touch upon the ancient percussion system (repertoire of pakhāwaj, jōṛī and tablā) and extinct string instruments that he has revived.
